Haryana's urban local bodies minister has directed officials in Panchkula to fast-track the allotment of residential plots and houses to poor families, reviving stalled work under state housing schemes. The municipal commissioner has been asked to clear pending cases, resolve procedural delays and ensure timely possession for eligible beneficiaries. The push follows earlier rounds in which thousands received plot-allotment letters and interim ownership certificates, though many units remained unallotted due to administrative backlogs.
