The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has issued 879 fines totaling INR 36.7 lakh under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) to curb pollution. Additionally, 331 fines for solid waste dumping (INR 5.4 lakh), 259 for single-use plastic (INR 2.18 lakh), and 21 for waste burning (INR 1.05 lakh) were imposed. The Gurugram civic body has uncovered six illegal colonies on 700 acres of disputed panchayat land in Behrampur during a surprise inspection. Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) has secured the rights to develop a 7.5-acre group housing plot on Golf Course Road in Gurugram through an e-auction conducted by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP). The plot has a development potential of over 1.7 million square feet, comprising luxury residential apartments with an estimated revenue potential of over INR 5,500 crore.
